Baylor Scott and White, College Station Hospital, Nights. I work in a community hospital with a 16 bed mixed med-surg ICU. I work alone, with intensivist back up from home, perform intubations and line placements as needed. I do all admissions to the ICU, and cross cover non-intensivist patients in our open ICU. I also do occasional hospitalist support to the 200 bed hospital. I am open to precepting Acute Care students who have ICU experience and plan to work in the ICU/critical care setting.

We are a slower pace and usually lower acuity than a tertiary/academic medical center. I work a 7 on/14 off night time 12 hour shift. Your school will need to have a contract with the Baylor Scott and White system in order for you to rotate with me, and I will need to verify that contract before agreeing to precept. I accept Acute Care students from Texas based schools only.

Outpatient Cardiology office with inpatient rounding. M-F

Cardiology and vascular specific. managing blood pressure, valvular disease, coronary and vascular disease, as well as arrhythmias. Inpatient and Outpatient settings daily.

Skilled nursing and LTC

I am available Monday through Friday. There are three different facilities I go to and plenty of patients to get practice with!

Urgent Care

I work at two locations. One in The Woodlands and the other in Conroe, which is a bit busier. We see patients of all ages from common cold and upper respiratory infections to fractures, lacerations, rashes, UTI, STD, abdominal pain, etc. We normally have one provider seeing anywhere from 15-50 patients daily. We have in house x-ray, strep, COVID/flu and mono testing. Let me know if you are needing urgent care hours, I know how difficult it can be finding clinical placements!
