Scott Goldsmith, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Multiple Myeloma Division at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center (COHCCC) in Duarte, California. He received in Medical Doctorate from the University of Florida, and subsequently completed his Internal Medicine residency and chief residency, and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He joined the faculty in the Department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation at COHCCC in 2021. Clinically, he focuses exclusively on treating patients with multiple myeloma and other plasma cell dyscrasias with experience and expertise with all treatment modalities, especially cellular and immunotherapies. His clinical and translational research focuses include combining radiotherapies with myeloma immunotherapies, understanding and mitigating toxicities of cellular therapies, and peripheral blood minimal residual disease assessments, and he is supported by several institutional and foundational grants.

Rebecca Silbermann MD, MMS

Dr. Silbermann cares for patients with multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders including AL amyloidosis and POEMS at Oregon Health & Science University, where she leads the multiple myeloma program and is an Associate Professor of Medicine. She is particularly interested in myeloma bone disease and preservation of function in elderly myeloma patients. Her clinical research program focuses on novel drug targets and drug combinations for patients with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma. She completed her hematology and medical oncology training at the University of Pittsburgh and previously served on the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh and Indiana University before moving to OHSU in 2017.
